INTEGRATIVE NATUROPATHIC ONCOLOGY I
Naturopathic support for people
navigating cancer treatment.
Terrain-focused, metabolically-informed care that builds resilience
and supports the tissues under strain, before, during and after
oncology treatment.
Herbal and nutritional medicine, nutrition, strength, sleep and rhythm, coordinated in writing
with your oncology team. I do not treat cancer, and nothing I work with is offered as treating,
preventing, curing or influencing cancer or its recurrence.ed Solutions for Complex Needs

How I can Help
SUPPORTING YOU THROUGH EVERY STAGE
Whether you're in active treatment, recovering afterwards, or managing advanced disease, terrain-focused naturopathic care works alongside your medical team to support you through every stage.
Terrain is the state of the ground everything else is landing on: how you digest and absorb, how you hold warmth and rhythm, how well you recover, and how much reserve is left. Care goes deeper than biochemistry, so I work with the whole person, rhythm, warmth, nourishment and inner life alongside the physical, because a resilient, well-supported tissue environment meets the demands of treatment differently. This isn't about replacing your oncology team, and it isn't aimed at the cancer. It's about the ground you're standing on through one of life's most demanding experiences.
THE WHOLE TERRAIN
The biology behind the conversation.
The following map is general education rather than a treatment plan. It describes the biology oncology itself works with, so that you can follow your own care and ask better questions. Nothing here is offered as a claim that any food, herb, supplement or practice treats or influences cancer.
01 Metabolic & signalling pathways
‍ ‍The survival-based metabolism and growth signalling described in cancer biology, including the stem-like cells that are more able to survive treatment.
02 Toxic burden
‍ ‍Heavy metals, persistent chemicals, and mould and biotoxins, studied as contributors to inflammation and total load on the body.
03‍ ‍Oncoviruses & chronic infection
‍ ‍Viral and bacterial infections studied in relation to inflammation and the cancer process.
04 Immune dysregulation & inflammation
‍ ‍Immune surveillance and the resolution of inflammation, both areas of active oncology research.
05 Chronic stress & the adrenals
‍ ‍Sustained stress and HPA-axis (adrenal) dysregulation, which shape sleep, appetite, digestion and how treatment is tolerated.
06 Epigenetics & genetic terrain
IInherited variants and the epigenetic signals that shape how genes are expressed.
07 Mineral & nutrient deficiencies
‍ ‍The nutrients the body depends on to regulate, repair and defend, and which commonly run short during treatment..
WHY IT MATTERS
Recovery continues long after the last cycle.
Rebuilding immune tolerance, nutritional status, muscle, digestion and sleep is slow.
It is the part most often left unsupported and can influence recurrence risk.
This is why the work does not end when treatment does.
WHAT I HELP WITH
Care matched to where you are.
During active treatment
Preparing for each cycle, and recovering between them
Herbal and nutritional prescribing, timed around your cycles
Nutrition, protein and muscle through the course
Nervous-system regulation, mouth and gut care
Sleep, rhythm and the pattern of your own counts
Post-treatment recovery
Herbal and nutritional support for tissue repair
Rebuilding in phases, at a pace your body sets
Digestive recovery after treatment
Nutritional support while blood counts recover
Rebuilding strength, stamina and energy
Correcting the nutrient gaps that fatigue hides
Food, movement and rhythm for the long view
Advanced & metastatic
Reading your profiling and results alongside you
Preparing for appointments, and the questions to ask
Protecting function, which is eligibility for what comes next
Herbal and nutritional support for symptom burden and strength
Coordinated in writing with your oncology team
I work with treatment, not around it
Everything I suggest goes to your oncology team in writing, with timing relative to your cycles. Where they say no, the answer is no.
I use functional medicine testing
EndoMAP, DUTCH hormone testing, organic acids, gut microbiome profiling and DNA profiling, alongside the pathology your doctor already orders. Each test is ordered to answer a question that would change the plan, not run as a routine panel.
Alongside experts
Dr Carol Haddad of Integrative Cancer Care Australia
I read the metabolic picture
Blood sugar, nutritional status and inflammatory markers already on your results, read as a picture of resilience over time rather than as isolated numbers.
I understand specialist oncology profiling
RGCC, Exacta, Omico, FoundationOne and ChemoScale profiling, including circulating tumour cell and cancer stem cell testing. Some are established in oncology and others are emerging, so I read them alongside you and alongside your oncology team, and every clinical decision stays with them.
I prescribe compounded herbal formulas
Herbal prescribing is foundational to naturopathic practice, and in this setting it is used to support tissues, digestion, sleep and resilience. Every formula is documented, timed around your cycles, and checked for interactions with your oncology team and pharmacist.
I draw on anthroposophic medicine
I care for the whole person, body, rhythm, warmth and inner life together, not the biochemistry alone.
I work from your actual results
Where tumour profiling has been done, I read it alongside you so you understand what you are deciding between. Interpretation and every clinical decision stay with your oncologist.
I practice endobiogenic medicine
I read the endocrine system as one interconnected whole, the body's inner regulator of adaptation, rather than a set of isolated hormones to correct..
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Much of what we call cancer's behaviour can be read as one unresolved response, playing out in many ways.
This is the map I work from, and where terrain-based care can reach.
The Transformational Terrain Medicine model
Cancer through the terrain lens
A reading of cancer's behaviours as the expression of a single, unresolved response. This is a
teaching model for understanding the biology, not a treatment plan, and it is held alongside
conventional oncology, never in its place.
Factors studied in relation to the process
These are factors discussed in the research literature as relevant to the cancer process. They are not causes of any individual person's cancer, and nothing here should be read as saying a person's history, stress or emotional life caused their disease.
Chronic inflammation
Toxic load
Microbiome dysbiosis
Chronic infection & pathogens
Chronic stress
Emotional drivers & trauma
Declining immune surveillance
Inherited terrain
Inherited terrain: germline capacity ceilings, in-utero epigenetics, inherited toxic burden, maternally inherited mitochondria.
Pathogens: latent or reactivated viral and bacterial infection, and biotoxin or mould load.
Emotional drivers: unresolved stress, grief and trauma carried in the body.
The Integrative Medicine Journal
Evidence-grounded writing on how the body heals.
A practitioner's journal of evidence-based integrative medicine, drawing on endobiogeny, plant and anthroposophical medicine, and emerging approaches in oncology and complex care.
How to Begin
Cancer care begins as a package.
Naturopathic oncology care with me starts with the ICCA Cancer Essentials program, the foundational knowledge you need before we go deeper together.
Enrolment and your initial consultation are purchased as one package, so you can begin straight away.

02
Book your consultation
Immediately after enrolling you'll be sent my booking link. Choose your time and complete your consultation booking directly with me.
03
We map your terrain
We review your diagnosis, treatment plan and testing together, and build a program that works alongside your oncology team.
Oncology consultations are not booked through my general booking page. If you're seeking support for a condition other than cancer, including hormonal, fertility, autoimmune or fatigue-related concerns, you can book directly here.
